Pool Leak Calculator

Pool Leak Calulator – The Bucket Test Companion

Running the bucket test is a great way to determine if you have a leak in your pool. Determining just how much water you are losing can be a bit tricky if your math is a little rusty.

This calculator makes it super easy.

How to use the Pool Leak Calculator

  • Select the rough shape of your pool (rectangle or round)
  • Add the length and width in metres (rectangular pool) or diameter in metres (Round Pool)
  • Add the amount of millimeters your water level has dropped
  • Your results will appear blow the button

If you ran the bucket test for 24 hours, the result is the amount of water you lost in a day. You can multiply this by the number of days in a month to determine how much water you are losing per month.

Example:
If your result is 1,000 litres lost after 24 hours and the month has 30 days –
1,000 x 30 = 30,000 litres of water lost for the month
